Mandolin, Guitar, Claw Hammer and Bluegrass Banjo.

Vic began playing at the age of 14.
He is a master of the claw hammer banjo as well as bluegrass banjo.
Vic also excels at lead guitar
and plays riveting mandolin.

Vic has jammed with such luminaries as
Norman Blake, Tut Taylor, Doc Watson, Don Reno and Bill Keith while visiting Randy Woods "Ol time pickin' parlor" in the 70's.

His understanding and ability to master these instruments allowed him to teach at the Ottawa Folklore Centre from 1976 to 2001.

Vic and a few friends are credited as the originators of the Ottawa Valley's
first bluegrass club.

He is an exceptional picker and a dedicated bluegrass promoter.
